Just when I thought

Just when I thought I'd turned a corner, I injured my back. I don't know how, but one minute I was feeling more energy than I'd felt in some time; and the next minute, I could barely walk.

Why, what had I done wrong? it seems that that has been the story of my life for some years and  I hate it. I hate it and did you hear me, "I HATE IT!"

All of us have had the flu, sore throat or sniffles; an illness that puts us out of commission for a few days. They keep us from work and sidelined from life. Those illnesses are called 'acute.' Other illnesses don't go away, they're 'chronic;' meaning they're always with us and often finds the person who has the chronic illness continually running from doctor to chiropractor to a myriad of specialists and other healthcare practitioners; instead of living.
